Lorene Dunn

Lorene P. Dunn, age 100, passed away at the Hetzel Care Center in Bloomer on Wednesday February 15, 2012. She was born on July 7, 1911 to Ross and Della (Hardgrove) Kiddoo in Missouri. She married Andy Dunn on April 2, 1930 in Thorp WI. Lorene was a homemaker and in her free time enjoyed, spending time with her family and friends, sewing, crocheting, cooking, and square dancing; she was even a member of a square dancers club.

She is survived by two daughters: Phyllis (Kip) Vetterkind of New Auburn and Jeanette (Ken) Bell; one brother Clyde Kiddoo of Marshfield, six grandchildren: Elizabeth North, Lorene (Ed) Huiras, Portia (Kevin) Haugestuen, Clay (Bets) North, Jay (Rochelle) North, and Dino Ray North; 10 great-grandchildren; 18 great great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband: Andy Dunn; four sisters: Ramona, Alberta, AnaaBelle, and Gladys; one grandson-in-law: Scott Pederson; one great grandson: Russell Plummer

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 3:00 PM at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer, with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
