Lillian Peavey

Rice Lake Lillian “June” Peavey, age 88, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2009 at Rice Lake Convalescent Center. She was born June 27, 1920 to Harry & Cora (Smith) Clift. She was married to Clifford Nelson and after his death, married Harvey Peavey on March 18, 1976 in Sand Creek. She worked on the farm, assisted with delivering babies and helped families with child care. She enjoyed traveling and loved going to church.

She is survived by her husband: Harvey of Sand Creek; numerous nieces & nephews, other relatives & friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband: Clifford; 8 brothers & sisters.

A Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 29, 2009 at the Chapel of Independent Lutheran Church in Sand Creek. Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be expressed at olsonfuneralhomebloomer.com
