Laurel M. "Laurie" Lotts (Doyle)

Laurel M. “Laurie” Lotts, age 68, passed away Monday, February 27, 2017 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire. She was born December 16, 1948 in Bloomer to Frank and Margaret (Scovell) Doyle. She was a 1967 graduate of Bloomer High School and worked as a secretary. She also owned and operated a consignment store in Bloomer, a general store in New Auburn and the café in New Auburn. She was an avid reader, enjoyed playing cards, watching movies and had a taste for chocolate and maple covered doughnuts. Laurie was a very social person, loved music by Patsy Kline, singing karaoke and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter: Heidi (Randy) Nandory of Eau Claire; sister: Bonnie (Ken) Schimmel of Chippewa Falls; grandchildren: Nate (Tiffani Nierling) Nandory of LaCrosse and Jake Nandory of Eau Claire; special friend: Mike Stabnow of Eau Claire.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Frank and Margaret Doyle, brother: Frank “Dinger” Doyle, Jr. and husband: Dennis D. Jones.

A memorial services will be held on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at 4:00 PM at Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer with a visitation from 2:00 PM until the time of service at the funeral home.
