Larry was born in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin on Dec. 16, 1946. He grew up on his family's farm in Bloomer, Wisconsin, where he made many fond memories while hunting in the woods with his father and spending time with his sister Lynette and a brother Kerry. At the age of 7, Larry moved to St. Paul, Minnesota with his family. There, he attended North St. Paul High School (now called North High School) in North St. Paul and graduated in 1965. He later attended the University of Minnesota, where he received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering in 1969. After graduating college, Larry moved to Los Angeles, CA, where he took a job with Hughes Aircraft as a member of the technical staff. There he met his wife Judy, whom he married in Santa Monica on March 27, 1971. Together they moved to San Diego in 1975 when he took a position with Cubic Corp as Assistant Range Manager. He then moved to Virginia Beach with Cubic for a year. In 1977, Larry and his wife moved to Newbury Park, CA, where his two daughters Ginger and Amanda were born. In California, he took a position with Veda, Inc as Project Manager and Technical Lead. He retired in 1995 after 18 years of service to Veda.

Larry enjoyed hunting, especially in Montana with his cousins, saltwater and freshwater fishing, visiting family in Santa Barbara, Temecula and Wisconsin, speculating the stock market, and relaxing at home in Newbury Park.

The family would like to thank his doctor Afshin Khatibi and Kaiser Hospice, our friends, and neighbors who helped us through Larry's final days.
