Kristine M. Cole, age 70, passed away at Marshfield Clinic in Rice Lake after battling cancer. She was born on November 17, 1951 in Madison to Howard and Ione (LaGesse) Cole. She worked at many jobs over the years including, Southworth Chevrolet, People State Bank, Holiday Gas Station, to name a few. Kris kept herself busy fishing, bowling, gardening, dancing, cleaning, ironing, and canning. She was an avid sports fan at all levels. Kris fulfilled her lifelong dream of being a teacher through working as an aide at the Bloomer School District. Grandma Cole loved all her littles and was grateful for all the love and support she received at school. Kris loved her family and friends more than anything and was willing to sit down and share a story and a cold Leinenkugels with anyone.
She is survived by her daughters: April (Jason) Nichols of Colfax, Amber (Wolfe) Parzyck, of Colfax, Amanda (Matthew) Steffen of Port Mansfield TX, and Anne (Mark Jr.) Clements of Bloomer; sisters: Karen (David Klade) Cole; brother: Howard (Wendy) Cole; grandchildren: Orion and Lyric Nichols, Cole and Ashlyn Parzyck, Cashton Kay Steffen, Hazel Clemmens; step-grandchildren: Dayna Clements, Devin Clements and Caden Steffen-Ludwig; “5th Daughter-” Kim Conrad; K9 Companions: Sassy and Sheyanne, numerous nieces nephew and other close friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister: Kathleen Montford, significant other: Ray Burgess; special cousin: Kathy LaGesse
Kris wanted people to dance and have a good time. So on April 2, 2022 at the Bloomer Moose Lodge at 5:00 PM there will be a short service and time of sharing stories with dancing to follow until 8:00 PM. Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer is assisting the family.
