Kenneth "Aaron" Near Jr.

Kenneth “Aaron” Near Jr., age 48, passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, in Chetek, WI.

Aaron was born on September 23, 1975, in Mendota, IL to Kenneth Aaron Sr. and Shirley (Sweger) Near. Aaron loved to spend time with his family and always put the needs of others before his own. At the end of the day, if Aaron brought a smile to your face, he was happy.

Aaron is survived by his son: Cody (Chloe) Gehl of Raleigh, NC; siblings: Beth (Daren) Sandmann of Barron; Dolores (Jim Roulston) Tietz of Cumberland, Lisa (Gary) Jenness of Dallas and Michael Near of Dallas; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Kenneth Sr. and Shirley Near; and brothers: Kevin and Steven Near.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 – 6:00 PM on Friday, August 30, 2024, at the park in Dallas, WI. Burial will be at a later date at the Wayside Cemetery in Barron, WI.
