Junette Ziegler passed away peacefully June 20, 2016. She was born August 29, 1925 to Ferdie and Mildred Anderson on the family farm in Kennedy, MN. She attended the Jupiter Mission Church where she gave her heart to the Lord as an early teen. God was a part of her life all through her years. She attended school at the Garfield Country School for 8 years and Hallock High School for 4 years. She worked several places in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Illinois and went to Europe with her daughters, Wendy and Lynn.
On March 13, 1957 she married Paul Ziegler from Portage, WI and was blessed with 4 children: Wendy (Patrick) Brunson, Mark (Rhonda) Ziegler, Lynn Ziegler, and Ruth (Harry) Oakes. Junette and Paul resided in Eau Claire and Cornell WI for most of their married life where Paul taught Junior High math in the E.C. school district for 27 years and Junette cooked at Eagleton Nursing Home for over 13 years. They retired to Portage, WI for 10 years before returning to Bloomer last year. Junette and Paul loved the Lord and thank Him for their nearly 60 years together. God is good.
She is survived by her husband Paul, her 4 children, 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Evans (Joanne) Anderson, sister Ardyce (Norm) Peterson and sister-in-law Marlys Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ferdie and Mildred Anderson, brother Kennard Anderson, and sister-in-law Joy Anderson.
There will be a visitation on Sunday, June 26 2016 at 1:00 pm at New Life Alliance Church, 24288 County Road Z Cornell, WI, followed by a service at 2:00 pm and luncheon at 3:00.
