June M. Wolf, age 90, passed away on Monday, October 24, at The Maple Wood in Bloomer. She was born on June 7, 1921 in Bloomer to Phillip and Elsie (Krenz) Schwab. She married Roman ”Stub” Wolf on October 29, 1946 in Chippewa Falls, WI. During WWII she worked at the Ordinance Plant near Chippewa Falls and later she was as an assistant cook and server at the Senior Citizens Center in Bloomer. June kept a very tidy house and had a beautiful garden. She was a big fan of the Milwaukee Braves/Brewers and of the Green Bay Packers. She enjoyed playing cards, crocheting, fishing, traveling, listening to music, dancing and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by one daughter: Janice Siddons of Apache Junction AZ; one son: Larry (Donna) Wolf of Merrill WI; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, three nieces and two nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Roman “Stub”: three sisters: Violet Hass, Delores Provo and Opal Goettl.
Funeral Services will be held at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on Friday, October 28, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Robert Otto officiating. A visitation will be held at the church from 9:30-11:00 AM on Friday. Interment will take place in Bloomer Cemetery
