Juanita J. Tealey

Juanita J. Tealey, age 89 passed away Monday, April 17, 2023 at Dove Health Care in Bloomer.  She was born October 7, 1933 in Cornell to Charles and Nellie (Richardson) Adrian.  She married Robert Tealey on May 4, 1956 in Pine City MN.  Juanita was a master home-maker, taking care of her large family while canning, baking, couponing and quilting.  She also opened her home for child care, not only for her own family but for the neighborhood children.  She loved attending sporting events, family gatherings and entertaining at the lake. She was a member of the Eastern Star, serving as worthy-matron, and she served on the New Auburn School Board.   In her free time, she enjoyed playing cards, especially cribbage.  

She is survived by her six children:  Steven (Renata) Tealey of Chetek, Pam (Paul) Lanzer of Chetek, Robert (Lorrie) Tealey, Jr. of Beaufort SC, Roberta (Steve) Riesterer of Eau Claire, Nancy (Geno) Fidler of Bloomer and William (Sara) Tealey of Bloomer; sister-in-law: (Betty) Severson of Kansas; 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents:  Charles and Nellie Adrian; husband: Robert; great-grandson:  Preston Wright; siblings: Margaret (Hans) Olson, Beatrice Severson, Gertrude (Milton) Waterhouse, Oscar (Carol) Severson, Charles (Marlene) Adrian, Leonard (Ann) Adrian, Maxine Sarauer, Patricia (Bob) Smutney, Keith Adrian, Darlene Adrian, Barb (Lawrence) Ertolacci, and Earl Severson; parents in-law: Fred and Mary Tealey;  in laws:  Katherine (Francis) Roch, Jean (Emmitt) Quirk, Margaret Tealey, and Frank (Mary) Tealey.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 12:00 PM at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Bloomer with a visitation two hours prior to service at the church.  Inurnment will be in the Bloomer Cemetery.   Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer is assisting the family.    Online condolences may be expressed at olsonfuneralhomebloomer.com
