Joyce Vetterkind

Joyce Vetterkind, age 70, passed away Friday, October 16, 2009 surrounded by family and friends at Luther Midelfort Chippewa Valley in Bloomer. Joyce was born April 7, 1939 to Ira and Irene (Metcalf) Frank in Chippewa Falls Wisconsin. She was married to Gary Vetterkind on November 21, 1959 in Rockford, Illinois Joyce is an inspiration to all who met her teaching us to be courageous and strong no matter what the situation. She loved watching Nascar, game shows, doing crossword puzzles, watching cooking shows, watching the birds as well as spending time with her family, friends, and especially her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband: Gary of New Auburn, sons: Michael (Amie Hayes) Vetterkind of Eau Claire, Richard (Kris Wayne) Vetterkind of New Auburn; daughters: Vicki Vetterkind of New Auburn, Deadra (John) Minto of Weyerhaeuser, Colleen (Terry) Fedie of Altoona, brothers: Claire Frank of Cadott, Duane (Jean) Frank of New Auburn, Verdon (Goldene) Frank of Bloomer, Wayne (Linda) Frank of Tilden, Dale (Ken) Frank of New Auburn; sister: Geraldine Huhn of Cadott, Ardis (Chuck) Frenz of New Auburn, Loris (Jerry) Seibel of Bloomer; grandchildren, Sarah, Tiffany, Mikale Minto, Chelsea Fedie, Bayley Vetterkind, and one more on the way, plus numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by: Her parents, brother Arlyn Frank, sister, Lillian Novak

Services will be held at the Olson Funeral Home at 11:00 on Wednesday October 21, 2009. Friends may call on Tuesday October 20, 2009 at Olson Funeral Home between 4:00-8:00 or one hour before the service on Wednesday
