Joseph M. Rada, age 49, died unexpectedly on January 31, 2018 at his home in Bloomer. He was born on January 7, 1969 in Chippewa Falls to Joseph and Diane (Ruf) Rada. He married Kristina Satter on July 12, 1997 in Bloomer. Joseph worked as a machinist and was a true outdoorsman. He was a gun and reloading enthusiast and enjoyed hunting deer, coyote and bear. He took pride in how well his children could shoot a gun as well as their academic and athletic achievements. He always made time to take his children hunting and fishing and enjoyed a good “BS” session with his friends. You could always hear Joe say: “If you don’t drive a Ford, don’t bother stopping!”
He is survived by his wife: Kristina of Bloomer; his parents: Joseph and Diane “Blondie” Rada of Bloomer; children: Lindsey (Andrew Baldeshwiler), Maggie, Karley, Kya, Leah and Joseph; brother: Jeff (Cassie) Rada of New Auburn; sisters: Tammy (Bruce) Hartwig of Truman MN and Lawanda (Ted) Bowe of Chippewa Falls; Father-in-law: Loren Satter of Bloomer and mother-in-law: Diane Satter of Bloomer.
Preceded in death by grandparents: Cyril and Esther Rada, Ludwig and Helen Ruf; nephew: Brody Bowe.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday February 6, 2018 at 7:00 PM at Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer. There will be a visitation from 3:00-7:00 PM on Tuesday before the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in the spring.
