Jayne Younger

Bloomer Jayne L. Younger, age 60, passed away Friday, November 9, 2012 at her home in Bloomer. She was born September 19, 1952 in Chippewa Falls to Richard and Lois (Hankey) Kolmer. She married Gary Younger on January 19, 1973 in Eau Claire. Jayne worked at the Bloomer Dairy, was a baker at Burton’s Price Rite and was the manager at City Side Store in Bloomer for eleven years. She enjoyed crocheting, listening and dancing to polka music, being at the lake, playing with the cats and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband: Gary of Bloomer; two sons: David (Michelle) Younger of New Richmond and Jason (Fiancée: Wanda Taylor) Younger of New Richmond; one daughter: Jennifer (Lance) Peterson of Rice Lake; six grandchildren: Cody Camp, Caitlin Brantner, Bryce Younger, Kyara Miller, Shayne Younger and Carter Peterson.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Richard and Lois Kolmer.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday November 14th, 2012 at 1:00 PM at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Bloomer with Father John Potaczek officiating. Friends may call from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer on Tuesday evening.
