Jay W. Anderson, age 67, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Meadowbrook in Bloomer, after a short battle with cancer. He was born on July 24, 1957, in Grantsburg, WI to Wallace “Bud” and Joanne Anderson. He worked as a laborer and also as an auto body mechanic. He was a talented woodworker and enjoyed fishing and working on cars.
He is survived by his significant other: Cheryl Petersen; sister: Sherri Anderson; step-son: Josh (Amanda) Thompson; 7 step-grandchildren and 5 step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Bud and Joanne; and one step-son: Benjamin Thompson.
