Jacqueline Ann Pitts, age 75, passed away Friday, January 1, 2021 at Mayo Clinic in LaCrosse. She was born June 5, 1945 in Chippewa Falls to Robert and Irene (White) Moe. She married Gary Pitts on December 6, 1969 in LaFayette, Wisconsin. Jackie worked as a Testing Engineer for Cray Research and enjoyed her time cooking for the Highway Café. She was a member of St. Jude’s Ladies PCCW and taught CCD for many years. She was a beautiful singer and an excellent cook. She was a passionate and strong-willed woman whose doors were always open to friends and family. Her greatest joy was taking care of and spending time with her family; especially her grand and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband: Gary of New Auburn; her daughter: Melissa (Bradley) Knutson of Rice Lake; sister: Jeanne Moe of McFarland WI; brothers: James (Judy) Moe of Cadott, Jerry Moe of Cadott and Joseph (Cindy Anderl) Moe of Chippewa Falls; grandchildren: Dakota (Edwin) Keeley, Dan (Ashley) Pitts, Diona (James) Johnson, Brandon, Dillon, Austin and Peyton Knutson; 12 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Robert and Irene Moe; one great-granddaughter: Aimalynn Pitts.
