Obituary for Jack Anderson

Bloomer Jack Anderson, age 63, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2010 surrounded by his family at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire. He was born in Bloomer to Leslie and Lorraine (Petska) Anderson on October 11, 1946. Jack served proudly in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and spent most of his life as a butcher in Bloomer. He married Jeanne Newton on November 6, 1981 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Bloomer. Any spare time Jack had was spent on the golf course. He was a master of the grill and enjoyed playing cards and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. People were drawn to Jacks personality and the way he made those around them feel good about themselves. His sense of humor and his “Happy Shirts” will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife: Jeanne: daughters: Stacy (Dan) Hammen of Little Chute WI, Cheryl (Jeff) Boozell of Crosslake MN.; son: David (Tamara) Jacobson of Fredericksburg VA; seven grandchildren: Cal, Karsen, and Sofie Hammen, Alexa Bowe, Britta and Dane Boozell, and Ella Jacobson.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and sister: Judy Burgess.
