Irma Hurt

Irma P. Hurt, age 78, of Bloomer, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire. She was born November 9, 1929 in Eagle Point to August & Emma (Blank) Neitzel. She married Robert M. Hurt on January 12, 1949 in Minnesota. She worked as a bookkeeper for Perrenoud Inc. and later on was an aide at Wissota Lakeside. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, crocheting, baking and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by five sons: Roderick (Laurie) Hurt of Bloomer, Gregory Hurt of Bloomer, Brent Hurt of Bloomer, Darin (Rhonda) Hurt of Bloomer & Todd (Tami) Hurt of Chippewa Falls; one daughter: Paulette (John) Morning of Evansville WI; one son-in-law: Dan Misfeldt of Chippewa Falls; three sisters: Doris Buie of Webster, Leone (Vern) Prigge of Milwaukee & Pat (Frank) Howard of Mundelein IL; one brother: Eugene (Glenda) Neitzel of Cedar Hill TX; 15 grandchildren & 7 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Robert; one daughter: Joan Misfeldt; three brothers: Clayton, William & Lowell Neitzel; one granddaughter: Jill Misfeldt.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
