Irma A. Berg (Kowalke)

Irma A. Berg, age 96, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Dove South in Eau Claire. She was born December 10, 1921 in North Freedom, WI to William and Elsie (Schudlich) Kowalke. She married Clarence Berg on September 28, 1939 in Bloomer. Irma enjoyed playing cards, fishing, dancing, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by one son: Jerry Berg of Pueblo West, CO; two daughters: Susan (David) Brehm of Altoona and Linda (Kirk) Olson of Eau Claire; one sister: Pearl Hodowanic of Florida; three grandchildren: Damien Judkins, Laura (Chris) Davison and John Brehm; one great-grandchild: Calvin Davison.

She was preceded in death by her parents: William and Elsie Kowalke; husband: Clarence in 1983; sons: Gordon and Allen Berg one brother: Melvin Kowalke; two sisters: Mabel Kowaleski and Myrtle Berg.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer with a visitation from 1:00 – 2:00 PM. Interment of cremains will be in the Bloomer Cemetery at a later date.
