Grace Rogers

New Auburn WI Grace H. Rogers, age 83, passed away Thursday, August 28, 2008 at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire. She was born July 16, 1925 in Easthampton MA to Duford & Mary (Perrier) Vick. On September 26, 1942 she married Fred L. Demers, who was killed in action during WWII. She then married Clifford Rogers, SR. on April 14th 1945. Grace worked as a waitress and was a member of the Golden Girls in New Auburn. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, playing cards, bowling and spending time with her family & friends.

She is survived by two sons: Louis R. (Janet) Demers of Springfield OR & Clifford J. (Pat) Rogers, Jr. of Chicopee MA; one daughter: Linda G. (Henry) Carrier of New Auburn WI; one sister: Alice Rogers of South Hadley MA; 7 grandchildren & 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands: Fred & Clifford; one brother & one sister.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer is in charge of arrangements.
