Gordon Joseph Weyers

Gordon J. Weyers, age 90, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at MCHS in Bloomer. He was born July 20, 1932 in Kaukauna WI to Herman and Clara (Biese) Weyers. He married Dorothy “Dot” Schaefer on August 2,1955 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Kaukauna WI. He served in the United States Air Force and worked as an Agricultural Co-op Manager at Cenex. He enjoyed gardening, trimming his trees and watching football. His family, however, was the most important part of his life. Spending time with them was always a priority.

He is survived by his wife: Dorothy “Dot” of Bloomer: children: Carla (William) Campbell of Pulaski WI, Keith (Bonnie) Weyers of Navarino WI, Kevin (Pamela) Weyers of Sheboygan Falls WI, Pamela (Michael) Stalpes of Plymouth MN, Dorri (Joe) Waldera of New Auburn WI and Erik (Amanda) Weyers of Elk Mound WI; siblings: Paul (Connie) Weyers of Indiana, Carol Gutowski of Appleton and Joseph (Virginia) Weyers of Kaukauna; 24 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Herman and Clara Weyers; siblings: Richard, Kenneth, Donald, Anna Marguerite, Ellarita, Marilyn and George.

Mass of a Christian burial will be on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at 11:00 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Bloomer with Celebrant Father Victor Feltes. There will be a visitation at OIson Funeral Home at 1516 Larson Street from 10:00-10:50 on Thursday before the service.
