Gilbert P. Efram

Gilbert P. Efram, age 63, passed away at Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Bloomer, Wisconsin, on Monday, August 25, 2026. He was born on October 7, 1962, in St. Paul, Minnesota. He honorably served his country in the US Army during Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm. Gil married Cherise Cavin on December 20, 2002. He had a passion for taking care of individuals in a live-in group home, providing daily support, companionship, and dignity to every resident. Gil also enjoyed woodworking, fishing and attending the Minnesota State Fair and Renaissance Festival.

Gil is survived by his children: Nathan (Breanna) Efram and Sam Efram; step-son: Bobby (Vanessa) Cavin; siblings: Edward Efram, Mike Efram and Tina (Jim) Deike; and grandchild: Benly.

He was preceded in death by his mother: Joan Efram; wife: Cherise Efram in 2024; infant son: Samuel Patrick; and brother: Kenneth and Laurie Efram.

Services will be held at a later date with internment in the Fort Snelling Veterans Cemetery in Minnesota. Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer is assisting the family with arrangements.
