Geraldine M. LaGesse

Geraldine M. LaGesse, age 77, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2026 at Dove Healthcare - Rutledge Home in Chippewa Falls, WI.

Geri was born on September 27, 1948, to Rallen and Marcella (Jerabek) Ramseier. Following the death of her parents, at the age of 10, Geri moved in and was raised by her godparents: Leonard and Elizabeth Irwin. She graduated from Colfax High School with the Class of 1967 and worked as a teller at People’s State Bank in Bloomer, for several years.

Geri is survived by her siblings: Ralph (Laura) Ramseier, David (Lorene) Ramseier and Sandy Nelson; cousins and adopted siblings: Jim (Kathie) Irwin and Cheryl (Jim) Riebe; numerous other cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Rallen and Marcella Ramseier; brother: Clifford Ramseier; and godparents: Leonard and Elizabeth Irwin.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at New Hope Lutheran Church in Sand Creek. A funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM, on Saturday at the church with a luncheon to follow. Burial will be at Our Saviors Cemetery in Sand Creek. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to a local humane society to help animals in need.
