Gerald Johnson

Gerald Johnson passed peacefully into the care of his Lord and Savior on March 24, 2012, with his loving family at his side.
Gerald was born September 14, 1921, in Bloomer, Wisconsin, to Henry and Heldne Johnson. He married Charlene Reetz on November 6, 1949. Gerald was a veteran of World War II, during which he served with the U.S. Army in Europe. He was employed by Chippewa Motor Freight in Eau Claire for more than 30 years, and retired in 1979.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters Eleanor (Schmidt) and Gladys (Pederson); his brothers Robert and Chester; and his beloved wife, Charlene. He is survived by his son Robert; his daughter-in-law Suzanne, and granddaughter Elizabeth.
Services will be private and without visitation at the Olson Funeral Home, Bloomer.
