Gerald L. Haworth

Gerald Lee Haworth, age 75, passed away at his home, on August 22, 2014. He was born June 29, 1939 in Glenwood City to Leslie and Julia (Plumley) Haworth. He served in the US Navy and worked as a heating and air conditioning engineer at the Midway Hospital in St. Paul. He married Kelly Plaster on December, 31 1990. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting, ice fishing, traveling, and camping. Gerald was also a skilled builder and fabricator who could make almost anything. One of his favorite things to do was to spend time with his family and friends, always wanting to take them out to eat.

He is survived by his wife: Kelly; daughters: Keri (Kerry) LaFavor, Deanna, Brandi, Brittany and Danielle; brothers: Richard (Arlene) Haworth and Jim (Carol) Haworth; sister: Judy (Dave) Krause; grandson: Anthony LaFavor

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother: Bob Haworth.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer with a visitation from 1:00-2:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
