Gerald V. Fehr

Gerald Fehr, age 79, formerly of Bloomer, passed away in West Allis WI on Saturday, September 24, 2016. He was born July 6, 1937 in Bloomer to Julius and Anna (Windsor) Fehr. He married Helen Scheidecker on May 11, 1957 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bloomer. Gerald worked as a sheet metal worker and enjoyed fishing, watching game shows and listening to country western music.

He is survived by one son: W. Fehr; one daughter: Kim (Leonard) Severinsen of Bonduel WI; one brother: Gustave “Gus” of Colfax; two sisters: Arlene Meredith of Chippewa Falls and Glenice (Irv) Kressin of Chippewa Falls; brother-in-law: Elmer Knoepke of Cameron; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren 1 great-great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Julius and Anna Fehr; wife: Helen; twin sister: Geraldine Knoepke

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 11:00 AM at The United Methodist Church located at 1700 Main Street in Bloomer WI. Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer is assisting the family.
