Mom lived the life of the “Song of Ruth": "Whither thou goest, I will go" following Walt throughout his career as their family grew. During all those years it was expected that the family vacation would consist of a mad dash back to Bloomer in the car with four children, her mother (and lots of luggage) to be surrounded by family. Above all our Mother was the strength that created and completed our family. She was a nurturer who understood that children needed to develop and grow each in their own way. A patient and private woman she was always strong in her faith. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren benefited from all that love and acceptance. She is their beloved GG and we all knew we could turn to her for guidance no matter our ages. She enriched our lives in ways too countless too measure and will continue to be a living presence because of how special she was. Her grace and love will be with us always.
