Gary Marquardt

Gary L. Marquardt, age 67 passed away at his home in Bloomer on Monday, March 16, 2015. He was born April 7, 1947 to Alvin and Lorraine (Rubenzer) Marquardt in Bloomer. He worked as an aid at the nursing home in Bloomer and had several side jobs of shoveling sidewalks and mowing lawns. He enjoyed walking and riding his bike around the community, giving a friendly wave to anyone he saw. He was an avid Packer fan and loved working in his garden.

He is survived by his brothers: Alvin and David Marquardt of Chippewa Falls; sister: Betty (John) Rihn of Bloomer, sister-in-law: Jeanette Marquardt of Bloomer; numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Alvin and Lorraine; brother: Roger; nephew: Michael Marquardt.

A memorial service will be held at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer on March 23, 2015 at 6:00 PM with a visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Bloomer Cemetery.
