Gary A. Gassen, age 81, passed away Monday, July 8, 2024, at Marshfield Medical Center. He was born September 26, 1942, to Rex and Marvel (Hiler) Gassen. He worked as a self-employed truck driver and enjoyed fishing, camping and trucking.
He is survived by 7 sons: Randy (Samantha Miller), Kevin, Michael (Erin Gaier) Jeffery, Greg, Jerry and Chris; sister: Diane Ruiz; and numerous other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Doris Swartz; parents: Rex and Marvel Gassen.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, July 14 at 12:00 PM at the North Catholic Cemetery in Bloomer.
