Francis M. Libersky

Francis M. Libersky, age 67, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire, He was born June 16, 1946 in Bloomer to Frank and Louise (Stoffel) Libersky. He married Martha Marek on November 30, 1968 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Bloomer. Francis worked as a dairy farmer until 1990 and then for the City of Eau Claire until his retirement. He was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Bloomer and enjoyed collecting John Deere Toy Tractors, playing sheepshead and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife: Martha of Bloomer; one son: Gregory (Missy Christianson) Libersky of Chippewa Falls; three daughters: Elizabeth (Richard) Williamson of Chanhassen MN, Angela (Todd) Buchenauer of Green Bay and Monica (Paul) Thornton of Eau Claire; one brother: Lorin Libersky of Jim Falls; one sister: Kathleen Pritchard of Bloomer; four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Frank and Louise Libersky; one brother: Dennis; one sister: Lorena.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 19, 2014 at St. Pauls Catholic Church in Bloomer. There will be a visitation at Olson Funeral Home from 4:00-8:00 PM on Sunday, May 18, 2014.
