Frances Marie Lane

Frances M. Lane, age 91, passed away at Meadowbrook Manor in Bolingbrook, Illinois on Thursday, May 15, 2025. She was born in Chicago to Charles Sr. and Angela (Belmonte) Grassini on August 11, 1933. Previous marriages brought Frances three sons: Louis, Russell and Sam. She married Paul Lane on November 23, 1977, and were together until Paul’s passing in 2021. Frances worked as a laborer in the Aircraft Manufacturing industry. Frances and Paul retired to Bloomer in 1997 where Frances was active in the Bloomer Women’s Club and the Red Hat Society. In her free time, she enjoyed playing cards, tending to her garden and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her sons: Louis Clark, Russell Deckert and Sam Deckert; siblings: Charles Grassni, Frank (Rosemary) Grassini, and Concetta Ronconi; 5 grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends

She was preceded in death by her parents: Charles and Angela; and husband: Paul Lane.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer with a visitation starting one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Service will be live streamed at www.facebook.com/olsonfuneralhomebloomer
