Florence Culver

Florence E. Culver, age 85, passed away Monday, November 7, 2011 at Hetzel Care Center in Bloomer. She was born August 26, 1926 in Chippewa County to Bert and Nellie (Hillson) Benson. She married Clayton Culver on November 19, 1946 in Bloomer. Florence enjoyed painting and framing pictures, shopping, going to thrift sales and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons: Chris (Linda) Culver of Bloomer and Dennis (Pat) Culver of Bloomer; one daughter: Connie Rihn of Bloomer; one brother: Irvin (Peggy) Benson of Bloomer; 8 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents: her husband: Clayton; sisters: Nelva Ellis, Leona Amodt, Vivian Clements, Betty Cronin and Doris Lewis and infant Florence; son-in-law: Gregg Rihn.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 11, at 11:00 AM at Our Saviors Lutheran Church with Pastor Joel Olson Officiating. A visitation will be held at Olson Funeral Home from 4:00-8:00 PM on Thursday, November 10, 2011. Interment will take place in the Auburn cemetery following the service.
