Fern B. Meisner, 91, of Bloomer, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Dove Health Care in Bloomer.
Fern was born on May 2, 1931, in Bloomer, to George and Ada (Paus) Rehm. On March 15, 1950, Fern married Leonard “Bud” Meisner in Pine City, MN. She was a cook for the Bloomer School District. Fern was involved with the Bloomer Food Pantry and was a member of the Bloomer United Methodist Church and Women’s Fellowship group. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, knitting and spending time with her family.
Fern is survived by her children, Tom (Sandy) Meisner of Island Lake and Debbie (Bill) Mayer of Eau Claire; grandchildren, Nick (Chrissy), Gen (Kris), Chris (Kalen), Michelle, Sara (Logan), Zack (Deanna), and Amanda (Matt); greatgrandchildren, Dominick, Ben, Rose, Phoenix, Aubrey, River, Peyton, Paisley, Blake and Ivy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ada Rehm; husband, Leonard; siblings, Gertrude Shipman, Howard Rehm, Stanley Rehm, Evelyn Gotham and Waldron Rehm.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30am, on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at Bloomer United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held from 9-10:30am, on Tuesday at the church. Interment will be at the Bloomer Cemetery. A livestream of the service will be available at www.bloomerumc.com
