Everett S. Larson Jr.

Everett S. Larson Jr., age 83, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Marshfield Medical Center. He was born on July 19, 1934 in Illinois to Sixten Sr. and Sylvia Larson. Everett worked as a shipping and receiving foreman for Jefferson Smurfit Label Company for 42 years. He had a great sense of humor and a quick wit. He was always ready with a good story. Everett believed in staying physically fit, lifting weights for most of his life. He was passionate about the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting and cross country skiing. He loved spending time with his family and his friends.

He is survived by his children: Sixten “Butch” Larson and Wendy (Tony Pragovich) Schaben; sisters: Armine Hummel and Sylvia McKeen; grandchildren: Aimee and Ashlee Larson, Cody and Chase Schaben; great-grandchild: Paislee Larson; numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends

He is preceded in death by his parents

A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 2, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer. There will be a visitation from 11:00-1:00 on Monday before the service at the funeral home.
