Elora M. Michels (Peasley)

Elora M. Michels, age 65, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at MCHS in Bloomer. She was born June 15, 1949 in Chippewa County to Thomas and Luella (Gunn) Peasley. She married Ronald Michels on May 12, 1990 in Bloomer. Elora worked at Cummins Filtration in Bloomer and enjoyed doing yard work, planting flowers, Reading, painting, baking, listening to music and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband: Ronald of Bloomer; two sons: Ricky (Sandy) Richardson of New Auburn and William Richardson of New Auburn; one brother: Allen Peasley of New Auburn; four sisters: Edna Stolt of Bloomer, Jean Hughes of Bloomer, Emma Prill of Bloomer and Velva Richardson of New Auburn; one brother-in-law: Allen (Sandy) Michels of Eagleton; two sisters-in-law: Janet (Elmer) Hawbaker and Joann Dwyer of Rockland CA; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Thomas and Luella; husband: Frank Richardson; sisters: Esther Stewart and an infant; one infant brother.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Bloomer. Friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 on Friday, January 16 at the Olson Funeral home in Bloomer. Interment will be in the Bloomer Cemetery.
