Eleanor M. Berg (Bartlett)

Eleanor M. Berg, age 91, passed away Monday, June 16, 2014 at MCHS Maplewood in Bloomer. She was born on November 21, 1922 in Chetek to William and Leona ( Sanders) Bartlett. She married Orvin G. Berg on June 3, 1943 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bloomer. Eleanor farmed with her husband from the time they were married until she moved to Bloomer, around 1989. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, listening to Christian hymns and studying the bible.

She is survived by her children: Robert (Lorna), Norman (Deb), Larry (Sue), Jean (Tom) Streets, John, Harold Shelly and Karen (Charlie) Barney; sisters: Barbara and Linda; 16 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents William and Leona; her husband: Orvin; siblings: Floyd “Bud”, Margaret, Evelyn, Irene, and Beulah; infant grandson: Scott Berg.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Assembly of God Church in Bloomer. Burial will be in the Bloomer Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Thursday at the church.
