Douglas Behnke

Douglas A. Behnke, age 79, passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 in Marshfield, WI. He was born December 11, 1933 in Fond du Lac WI. to John and Elsa (Kobs) Behnke. He married Grace (Downs) Miller on March 28, 1988 in Nashville TN. He worked as a mechanical engineer at Universal Foods and proudly served in the US Navy. In his free time enjoyed fishing and hunting, especially hunting ducks.

He is survived by his wife: Grace of Bloomer; daughter: Cheryl (Larry) Rasmussen of Lomira WI; son: Mike (Helen) Behnke of Campbellsport WI; stepchildren: Robert Miller of Rice Lake; Daniel (Giselle) Miller of Rice Lake; Gary (Nadine) Miller of Bloomer; sister: Joan DeClue of Fond du Lac, sister-in-law: Kathy Behnke of El Dorado WI; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and his special K9 companion, Buffy.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two infant children; brother: John Behnke.
