Obituary for Dorothea "Faye" Harris

Dorothea “Faye” Harris, age 92, passed away at Dove Healthcare in Bloomer (The Maplewood) on Monday, October 05, 2015. Faye was born on January 23, 1923 to Edgar and Ethel “Ruth” (Rodgers) Lippincott in Milan Missouri. She married Mayne F. Harris on June 12 1946 in Stanberry Missouri. She taught elementary school in a one room school house in Missouri and Chetek and was a teacher’s aide in New Auburn. She was a member of Christian Life Fellowship and taught Sabbath School and vacation bible school for many years. Faye loved Gods bountiful creation and gifts of flowers, birds, music and sharing her faith with others. Living for Jesus was the theme of Faye’s life. She was thankful that should could share the Lord’s message with all her friends and family.

She is survived by her son: Ronald (Patricia) Harris of Bloomer; siblings: Lettie Siddens, Ermil “Dee” Lippincott Missouri; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends

She is preceded in death by her parents Edgar and Ethel “Ruth”; husband: Mayne Harris; son: Fredrick “Ricky” Harris

Funeral Services will be held at the Bloomer Baptist Church on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 11:00 AM with a visitation from 4:00-7:00 PM Friday, October 9th at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer. Interment will be in the New Auburn Cemetery.
