Doris L. Lane (Krueger)

Doris L. Lane, age 82, passed away at the Atrium Care Center in Bloomer on Thursday, July 28, 2016. She was born on March 12, 1934 in Town of Cleveland to Paul and Lydia (Kressin) Krueger. She married Robert Lane on March 17, 1955 in the Town of Cleveland. She worked as a secretary for Farmer’s Union, in housekeeping for Hetzel Care Center and enjoyed her summer job at Big Stone Canning. She was an active member of the Assembly of God Church and Ladies Aide. In her spare time she liked to garden (especially flowers) mow the lawn, be outside and spend time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her sons: Jeffrey (Ann) Lane and David (Shelly) Lane both of Bloomer; daughter: LuAnn (Brent) Agnew of Chippewa Falls; grandchildren: Justin (Christina) Agnew, Nicole (Andrew) Nelson, Brennan Lane and Noah Lane; great-granddaughter: Allison Agnew.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Paul and Lydia Krueger; husband: Robert; brothers: Clarence, Robert, Herbert and Allen Krueger; sisters: Irene Krueger and Lucille Hilger.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at the Assembly of God Church in Bloomer. There will be a visitation from 10:00 AM -12:00 PM at the church before the service on Saturday. Interment will be in the Bloomer Cemetery following the service.
