Obituary for Donna Mae Pederson

Donna Mae Pederson, age 72, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, March 16, 2012. She was born on March 27, 1939 to Frank and Minnie (Niehus) Weishoff in Portage Wisconsin. She married I. Clayton Pederson on July 2, 1972 in Milton WI. Donna was a domestic engineer taking care of her family and the farm. She was a member of the 7th Day Baptist Church and in her free time enjoyed quilting, sewing, crocheting and visiting with her friends and family at the local café.

She is survived by her husband Clayton of Bloomer; three sons: John (Cheryl) Anderson of Chetek, Jim (Lynda) Anderson of Hudson, Peter (Heather) Pederson of New Auburn; three daughters: Sharon Prince of Rochester MN, Annette (Jeff) Ryan of Amarillo, TX, Nancy (Chad) Risen of Eau Claire; two stepsons: Thomas Pederson of Elkhart IN and Ivar “Duke” Pederson of Glasgow MT; two stepdaughters: Margaret Merdler of Monona WI and Lisa (Terry) Arendt of Elkhart IN; 14 grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 4 step-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Frank and Minnie and brother: Doug Weisoff.

Funeral services will be held at the 7th Day Baptist Church in New Auburn on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at 11:00 AM. There will be a visitation at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 from 4:00-8:00 PM. Interment will take place in the New Auburn Cemetery following the service.
