Donald Taylor

Donald L. Taylor, age 80, passed away Friday, December 26, 2008 at Luther Midelfort Chippewa Valley Hospital in Bloomer. He was born May 22, 1928 in the Town of Sampson to Robert & Ethel (Tallman) Taylor. He married Inez Klarr on January 16, 1954 in Bloomer. Donald worked for L.G. Arnold Construction and Mid Am Dairy. He was also a heavy equipment operator for the Town of Sampson. Donald enjoyed cutting wood, working with the horses, going on sleigh rides, plowing snow and spending time with his family.

He is survived by three sons: Bradley of Radisson WI, Tracey (Karolee) of New Auburn & Don (Melissa) Taylor, Jr. of New Auburn; three daughters: Susie Taylor of Bloomer, Sandy Metcalf of Bloomer & Sharon (Jeff) Shipman of Nebraska; two sisters: Elsie Hartman of Racine WI and Loretta Erickson of Bloomer; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren;

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife: Inez; son: Ronald; infant daughters: Charlene & Eva Dawn; three brothers: David, Robert & Ernest.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 29, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer with Pastor Heather Brewer officiating. Interment of cremains will be in the Island Lake Cemetery in the spring. Friends may call from 4:00 �" 8:00 on Sunday and up to the time of services on Monday at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer.
