Diane Rosenbrook

Diane M. Rosenbrook, age 73, passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at her home in Cooks Valley surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 5, 1939 in Bloomer to Robert and Evelyn (Mullen) Faschingbauer. She married Dean Rosenbrook on February 10, 1956 in Colorado Springs CO. Diane helped Dean out on the farm; milking cows, painting, and managing the books all while raising six children. She volunteered at the Bloomer Hospital was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and the Ladies Auxiliary. Diane enjoyed quilting, gardening, reading, snowmobiling, mowing the lawn, teaching bible school and spending time with her family at the lake.

God saw you getting tired
And a cure was not to be,
So He put his arms around you

With tearful eyes, we watched you suffer
And saw you fade away,
Although we loved you dearly,
We could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
A beautiful smile at rest,
God broke our hearts to prove

She is survived by her husband: Dean, of Bloomer; three sons: Dale (Susan) of Bloomer; Dean “Charlie” (Debbie) of Bloomer, and Dennis (Kelly) of Stevens Point WI; three daughters: Donna (Dan) Bowman of Duluth MN, Denise (David) Lesny of Bloomer, and Dawn (Bob) Johnson of Eau Claire; two brothers: David (Judy) Faschingbauer and Dan (Kathy) Faschingbauer of Bloomer; sister: Deborah (Gary) Rogge of Bloomer; 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Robert and Evelyn; one infant sister: Donna.

Funeral Services will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bloomer on Monday, January 14, 2013 at 11:00 AM with Pastor James Strand officiating. There will be a visitation from 4:00-8:00 PM on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer and one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Interment will be in the Bloomer Cemetery following the service.
