Diane  Marie  Odash Hingtgen

Diane Marie Odash Hingtgen at the age of 56 passed away at her home after a short battle with breast cancer on Saturday, April 15, 2017. She was born in Rice Lake on July 25, 1960 to Don and Fern (Hassebrook) Odash. She married Rick Hingtgen on July 18, 2004 at Twin Creeks campground in Minnesota. She enjoyed being outside and working in her garden. She had a great sense of humor, known for her witty one-liners, and had an infectious laugh that made everyone smile. More than anything Diane loved visiting her grandchildren. She always made time for them and was ready with hugs and balloons whenever they were together.

She is survived by her mother: Fern of Modesto CA; husband: Rick of New Auburn; sisters: Mary (Bill) Swanson of Escalon CA and Susan (David) Parry of Hanford CA; brothers: David (Lorri) Odash of Barron WI and Daniel (Debbie) Odash of San Marcos CA; children: Scott (Diane) Odagard of Jim Falls, Melissa (Steve) Boyle of Dubuque IA, Tina (Chris) Keck of Dubuque IA, Michael (Kari) Potter of Dubuque IA, Jessica Hingtgen and her husband Nathan of Knoxville TN and Lacy Hingtgen of Platteville WI; 18 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father: Don Odash in 2011 and her son: Joshua Carr 2012.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer with a time of gathering from Noon until the time of service.
