Deon M. Zwiefelhofer

Deon M. Zwiefelhofer, age 61, of Bloomer, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Dove Healthcare West in Eau Claire, WI.

Deon was born on September 23, 1964, in Bloomer to Leon J. and Kathleen A. (Dachel) Zwiefelhofer. She attended Bloomer High School and graduated with the Class of 1983. For over 10 years, Deon worked at Menards Call Center in Eau Claire. She enjoyed the simple pleasures of home life, finding happiness in cooking, baking, watching Hallmark shows with Rosie by her side and having the company of loved ones close by.

Deon is survived by her siblings: Kevin (Kelly) Zwiefelhofer, Craig (Debbie) Zwiefelhofer and Denise (Chris) Pake; sister-in-law: Amy Zwiefelhofer; nieces and nephews, Alyson (Toby Chapek) and Alex (Desiree) Zwiefelhofer, Jordan, Jacob (Kayla), Lucas, Joey, Jason, Justin, Joshua and Anna Pake; aunt and godmother: Alice Madson; uncle: Denny Bowe; aunt: Joann Derks; numerous other aunts, uncles, other relatives, friends, and the love of her life: a 4 pound Yorkie, Rosie.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Leon and Kathleen Zwiefelhofer; brother: Todd Zwiefelhofer; aunt: Marilyn Bowe; uncle and godfather: Jim Madson; and numerous aunts, uncles and other relatives.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, on Friday, May 22, 2026, at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Bloomer. There will be no visitation prior to mass. Burial will be at St. Paul’s South Catholic Cemetery. Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer is assisting the family with arrangements.
