Delmar L. Gravunder

Delmar L. Gravunder, age 102, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at Meadowbrook Nursing Home in Chetek, WI.

Delmar was born on April 29, 1923, to Charles and Bertha (Gehring) Gravunder in Bloomer, WI. On August 18, 1956, Delmar married Rena G. Ling, and they later divorced. In his younger years, Delmar worked at O and N Lumber Company in New Auburn and the Chippewa Wollen Mill but most of his life was spent tending to his dairy farm in rural New Auburn. Delmar enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing and working on lawnmowers.

Delmar is survived by four children: Victoria (Dennis) Kellen of New Auburn, Brenda (Paul) Carlson of New Auburn, Chris Gravunder of Bloomer, and Dawn Gravunder of Bloomer; three grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Charles and Bertha Gravunder; granddaughter: Denise Kellen; and siblings: Norman Gravunder and Ethelyn Martin.

A Graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM, on Monday, June 16, 2025, at the New Auburn Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff members of Mayo Hospice and Meadowbrook of Chetek.
