Obituary for Delilah R. Cramblit

Delilah R. “Dee” Cramblit, age 86, passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire. She was born December 2, 1922 in Sand Creek WI to John & Ella (Dreger) Waterhouse. She married Richard Reetz on November 12, 1940 in the Town of Auburn. After his death she married Leslie Cramblit on June 16, 1979 in Eau Claire. Dee and her husband, Richard, farmed for many years and also owned & operated the Happy Hour Tavern in Bloomer. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bloomer. She enjoyed crocheting, doing crafts and visiting with family and friends.

She is survived by one daughter-in-law: Kay Reetz of Drummond; two brothers: John (Ella) Waterhouse of Chetek & Norman (Thelma) Waterhouse of New Auburn; two sisters: Charlotte Mutch of St. Paul & Anita (Norman) Chase of Park Rapids MN; one granddaughter: Desiree Reetz of Edgewood MD; one great-granddaughter: Elizabeth Upenicks of Houston TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands: Richard in 1976 & Leslie in 1997; one son: Frederick Reetz in 2004; one grandson: C. J. Reetz in 1999; one brother: Herbert Waterhouse; two sisters: Leona Pagenkopf & Lorraine Bergmeir.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 28, 2009 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bloomer with Rev. Strand officiating. Interment will be in the Bloomer Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Monday at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society or St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bloomer.
