David L. Hughes

David L. Hughes, age 61, passed away on March 17, 2024, at Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Eau Claire, with his wife by his side. 

 David was born on November 29, 1962 in Chippewa Falls to Julie Gravunder and Larry Hughes. 

 On April 20, 2013 David married Theresa Miller. He worked for Spectrum Industries in Chippewa Falls for 36 years. David enjoyed watching the Badgers, Packers, NASCAR races and driving around on his trike. 

 David is survived by his wife: Theresa Hughes, children: Damien and Felicity, father-in-law:  Lloyd R. Miller, Sr.; brothers-in-law:  Bill (Michelle) Miller, Lloyd (Tonda) Miller and Raymond (Audrey) Miller; grandchildren, aunts, uncles, other relatives, friends, and feline companion: Ozzy. 

 He was preceded in death by his mother: Julie (Robert) Lawry, father: Larry (Elva Jean) Hughes, and Tippy the Kitty. 

 Visitation will be held from Noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer. A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Funeral Home.
