David H. Conrad, age 74, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at the Bloomer Hospital. 

 

David was born on May 2, 1950, born in Bloomer, WI to Harry E. and Ruth A. (Black) Conrad.

 

On July 14, 1990, David married Barbara Lambert at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bloomer. He was a jack of all trades, but mainly drove truck over the road. David loved hunting, fishing, shooting sporting clays, trap and riding his motorcycle. He truly enjoyed joking around and giving people a hard time. 

 

David is survived by his wife: Barb Conrad; children: Jennifer (Dan) Wubker of Bloomer, Brent (Jackie) Conrad of Cornell and Angela (Russell) Culver of Bloomer; 12 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; siblings Barbara (Mel) Crisp, Sandy (Doug) Hilger, Linda (Rich) Greenblatt, Doug (Debbie) Conrad, Cindy (Roger) Miller, Vicki (Jeff) Eder, Vinton Jr. (Penny) Hetke and Mark (Dana) Hetke; and also by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. 

 

He was preceded in death by his father: Harry Conrad; mother: Ruth (Vinton Sr.) Hetke; siblings: Debbie Schwartz, Lucille Christiansen, Deloris Rihn and Ellsworth Conrad. 

 

A celebration of life will be held on May 25, 2024 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm at 21516 175th Street Cornell, WI 54732. Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer is assisting the family. Online condolences and stories can be shared at olsonfuneralhomebloomer.com
