Daniel F. Gullickson, age 69, passed away on August 15, 2025, at his home with family by his side.
Dan was born on July 25, 1956, in Chippewa Falls, to Glen and Norma (Peterson) Gullickson. He attended Bloomer High School and graduated with the Class of 1974. On May 13, 1978, Dan married Sandra Severson at New Hope Lutheran Church in Sand Creek. He worked at Farmers Union in Bloomer hauling fuel and Parker Hannifin in Chetek as a machinist.
Dan had a great love for his family. He often said, and truly believed, that his family was his greatest treasure. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and going to Canada with his family. Hunting was another passion of Dan’s as he registered 7 bucks in the Boone and Crockett Record Books. He also kept busy with his Mopar projects of the 72 Charger that was completely restored, a 69 Charger that was a work-in-progress, and a Super Bee that was next on the list. Dan lived his life with the sentiment of “A job worth doing, is a job worth doing well,” and "Try and leave this world a little better than you found it." Dan was deeply loved and will be forever missed by all who knew him.
Dan is survived by his wife: Sandy Gullickson of Chetek; three children: Gabriel (Sheridyn) Gullickson of Eau Claire, Gandriel Henrich of Wausau and Logan Gullickson of Menomonie; three grandchildren: Isabelle Gullickson, Addyson Henrich and Ewan Henrich; brothers: Larry (Sheryl) of Chippewa Falls, Michael (Carol) of Colfax, Dean (Peggy) of Chippewa Falls, Dennis (Kim) of Eau Claire; sister: Bonnie Gullickson of Bloomer; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Glen and Norma Gullickson.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM, on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at New Hope Lutheran Church in Sand Creek. Visitation will be from 1:00-3:00 PM on Saturday at the church.
