Curtis Swartz

Curtis R. Swartz , age 40, of Elk Mound, passed away Monday, September 7, 2009 at Dunn County healthcare center in Menomonie. He was born on September 30, 1968 in Bloomer to Harlan and Judy (Score) Swartz. He worked as a supervisor for The Body Shop in Boston MA. He was a huge Boston Red Sox fan, loved cooking, going to the theatre and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his father: Harlan (Bonnie) Swartz of Bloomer, his mother Judy Score of Elk Mound; maternal grandmother: Bernadine Score of Bloomer; five brothers: Calvin (Susie) of Bloomer, Clark (Kristi) of Bloomer; Fredrick (Mindy) of New Auburn, Cory (Emily) of Elk Mound, and Cody Swartz of Elk Mound; four sisters: Penny (Mitch) Levine of Chippewa Falls, Cari Benner of Fall Creek, Cassi Swartz of Elk Mound, and Coni Swartz of Elk Mound; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his: maternal grandfather: Earl Score; paternal grandparents: Leonard and Beatrice Swartz.

Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2009 at 8:00 PM at Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer with Deacon Richard Kostner officiating. The interment of Cremains will be in the Cooks Valley Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 PM on Thursday at the Olson Funeral Home.
