Clyde Richardson

Clyde A. (Bud) Richardson, age 71, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2010 in Bloomer WI. He was born March 15th, 1939 in the Town of Sampson to Stanley and Grace (Paulson) Richardson. He married Velva Peaslee on September 11th 1965 in Bloomer WI. Bud was raised in the New Auburn area and graduated from the New Auburn High School. He worked as a farmer most of his life. Bud loved carpenter work and helping others. He enjoyed playing cards, watching football, hunting, ice fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife: Velva of New Auburn; children: Michael Richardson of New Auburn, Sharon (Jay) Young of Bloomer and Chuck (Amanda) Richardson of New Auburn; three sisters: Janet Oelig of Altoona WI, Jacquie Buttke of Marshfield WI and Judy (Dave Dalsveen) Richardson of Eau Claire WI; grandchildren Renae, Kayla and Stephanie Richardson, Eric, Katie, Justin and Jamison Young and Grant Richardson; great-grandson Brett Schwartzenberger; sister-in-laws Elora (Ron) Michaels of Bloomer, Emma (Leo) Prill of Exeland, Jean (Larry) Hughes, Edna Stolt of Bloomer; brother-in-law: Alan Peaslee of New Auburn; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents;. brother: Frank Richardson; sister-in-law: Ester Stewart; brothers -in-law: Bernie Black, Red Stolt, Norman Rose and Harold Stewart.


Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at 11:00 AM at The Olson Funeral Home at 1516 Larson St. Bloomer WI with David W. Olson, officiating. Interment will be in the Bloomer Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 – 8:00 on Monday at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer and until the time of services on Tuesday.
