Clarence Mullenberg, age 94, passed away at the Fall Creek Valley Care Center on Thursday, February 9, 2012. He was born in Doon, Iowa to William and Althy (Buschenfeld) Milenberg on February 19, 1917. He married Melvina Krueger on May 15, 1955 in Eau Claire. Clarence served his country in the US Air Force during WWII. In his younger years, Clarence was a truck driver. He then became owner/operator of an egg distribution company and also drove school bus for the Fall Creek School District for many years. In his free time he enjoyed bowling, fishing, playing cards, gardening, playing the harmonica and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by two sons: Dale (Heather) Mullenberg of Chippewa Falls, Ray (Janet) Mullenberg of Chippewa Falls, three daughters: Barbara Mullenberg of Fall Creek, Nancy Duncan of Fall Creek and Ann (David) Kleinhans of Fall Creek; 15 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
He is preceded in death by his parents: William and Althy (Buschenfeld) Milenberg, wife: Melvina; two sons: Larry and James Mullenberg; one brother: Ernest Milenberg; two sisters: Muriel Gibbs and Leorna Brewster.
Funeral Services will be held at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer on Monday, February 13, 2012 at 11:00 AM. There will be a visitation from 10:00-11:00 AM at the Funeral Home on Monday. Interment will take place in the Bloomer Cemetery following the service.
